We are so impressed with the work you carried out on our leather sofa and armchair today Alan! You've made a battered, ripped and worn sofa look like new. I would recommend you to anyone for a friendly and value-for-money service with fantastic attention to detail. You worked late on a Friday night with no complaint and didn't rush the job towards the end, the last part of the repair received just as much attention as the first. Top class service!!

"Hi Alan!!
I have tried to post on your FB site, but it won't let me upload more
than one picture. This is what I wrote on my 'Status'. Feel free to use
it and add pictures if you'd like to.
I had tried several times to mend my hide bag, which I love, but is
falling to bits. Then I came across ' Lincs repair' and the last couple
of photos show the result. Alan recommended I had the shoulder strap
replaced as it was breaking, but it doesn't look like it doesn't go with
the bag. I should get another 17 years out of it!! Brilliant; the bag
was handstitched, too, and believe me that's hard work!!

We completed restoration work a sofa last week, and provided the client with the information on how to improve the comfort of her sofa, so as to save some money.......... received this email this morning

repairing my leather sofa. It really does look like new and i'm amazed at how
you managed to repair the badly cracked footrests- I really thought they would
be beyond repair! You made them look as good as new!

I
just wanted to write on here to say a massive thank you to Alan from
Lincs repair for saving my life after I accidentally spilt nail varnish
remover on my fathers prized leather sofa. It created a palm sized
decolourised patch and I thought for sure I was going to get murdered
for it. Luckily Alan's amazing skills repaired the damage with no sign
of the accident ever happening. So a massive thank you goes out to him
and I would recommend him and the company any day!

to clean and treat my 2 sofas, he also repaired a small tear, he did an
excellent job and its given my sofas a fresh new feel to them, im very

for info, please find feedback below with our heartfelt thanks for a superb job
accomplished.
It
all started with a patch of leather on the settee headrest that was losing
colour. My husband gets all the blame for this part and looked up how to
"repair/renovate" this on the internet. The end result looked atrocious neither
of us wanting to use that seat and put our heads on the settee headrest. I heard Lincs Repairs advert on the radio,
took the details and my husband put the SOS call in.
Al
came and looked and attempted to sort the problem out all afternoon, and, not to
be beaten, unpicked the leather section and took that portion away with him to
continue working on it. He managed to sort out what
was causing the discolouration / lack of colour,
bought the leather section back spray painted amazingly close to the rest of the
two tone settee, he then spent all afternoon sewing the section back on the
settee, broke numerous needles and lost his finger pads - but the result - an
extremely happy customer with a renovated settee that you do not notice has had
anything wrong with it.
Throughout
all the time Al spent attempting the repair and actually achieving the end
result he was very professional, personable and good humoured. A lot of people
would not have kept their equilibrium or would have given up - not Al - a
thoroughly professional job at an affordable price,
would confidently recommend 100%.

the LazyBoy Leather arm chair which had a rip in
the leather arm area was very successfully repaired. So much so that it is
difficult to see where the repair was completed. The green colouring has been
matched perfectly. A professional service to be recommended.
I have used Alan at Lincs Repair many times on all different types of
jobs. He has always risen to the challenge and delivered a first class
service. He has an infectious sense of humour and nothing is too much
